How to choose a Vibro Sifter?

Basically, there has 4 types of vibro sifters on markets:

1. Type A is universal sifter;
2. Type B is ultrasonic sieve, ideal for sifting ultrafine powders;
3. Type C is high frequency sifter, typical application: clay slurry and glaze in ceramic industry;
4. Type D is also known as inline sifter suitable for scalping and check sieving due to it's flow-through design, typical application: flour.

According to materials’ motion or trajectory on screen surface, have

• Circular vibrating screen: vibro sifter, YK type (for mining & quarry)
• Linear vibrating screen: SZF light-duty type, ZSG heavy-duty type
• Gyratory sifter: round tumbler screen, rectangular gyratory sifter, gyratory screen (specially for fertilizer)
• Rotary sifter: GTS trommel / drum screen                                           

According to industries, have

• Mining & quarrying: YK circular vibrating screen, ZSG linear vibrating screen, ZS dewatering screen
• Food & chemical: round vibro sifter, SZF linear vibratory screen, tumbler screen, gyratory sifter, ultrasonic sieve, flour sifter

To choose the right sieving machine, we should consider the following 2 factors:

1.Material characters

• If for sifting ultra-fine material (powder range 75um-20um), screener with ultrasound mesh cleaning system is the best choice, can use ultrasonic sieve or tumbler screen.
• If your material is light or difficult to screen material, can use tumbler screen or gyratory sifter.
• If oversized materials are a very small proportion or for scalping / check sieving, can use flour sifter / inline sieve.

2.Capacity

• If want maximum capacity, can use tumbler screen and gyratory sifter, they are also ideal for multi-stage separation (up to 5 decks).
• Compared with vibro sifter, capacity of SZF linear vibratory screen is much higher.
